Last week I’ve been in Edimburgh with Fyneale’s brewer Andrea. We have visited the malt house “Mungoswells Malt & Milling” and we have picked up different malts and flours for our next recipes. It has been a great day for me, I’ve seen like it works a real British malt company and I’ve also assisted to seminars about the most recent researches about malts.

In those weeks, we are very busy organizing this festival that is going to welcoming over 2000 people, more than 35 guest breweries and many music bands.
I’ve passed the Friday brewing under the directive of Chris, that allowed me to touch his dear plant. We have decided to brew a session pale ale with a great bouquet of hops, that is going to be the special beer of the fest. I’ve enjoyed my stay in this great company, the people have been fantastic and I’ve learned much more than I expected!
