In these weeks I have had the opportunity to replace one of the educators of “Creiamo Insieme” because she was sick.
It was a great job of responsibility and above all a great demonstration of confidence in my ability. For the first time since I came here in Brussels I tested my capacity as an educator and I worked alone, without being accompanied by anyone. It was really satisfying! I related myself with the parents of the children who were happy to entraste to me their little ones and I had organized a series of workshops (cooking, gardening and creative recycling) which I done alone and I took care of the center management for two weeks.
For two Saturdays instead of proposing the usual cooking workshop I had organized a creative reading course in Italian language and on Sunday I organized a party for children that have been a success.
I am very happy to have had this opportunity, and especially proud to have made my tutor satisfied.
Unfortunately there are only two weeks to the end of my Erasmus, I’m curious to see what will happen…
