The first two weeks have been very intense, mostly I studied documents and I get acquainted with the foundation. I was introduced at Fundatia Dezvoltarea Popoarelor activities. I met the whole staff and I learnt about current projects, especially in the field of social economy. For this reason I visited also Fabrica de Mozaic, a social enterprise set up by Fundatia and Simona Carobene in order to give a real job opportunity to a group of youngsters. It’s a very innovative project here in Romania where social economy is not that developed and mosaic is mostly imported. Indeed mosaic in Romania is produced only by another company. Also, in the first week I visited the section of Fundatia located in Dambovita where Fundatia will set up a new social enterprise (cleaning service) which will offer a job to roma people living in the area. Both projects were realized with a co-financing by European fund.
Also I took part with the staff to a teambuilding of three days about Fundraising. It was a great opportunity to learn about many sources and instruments of financing for Ngo, cooperatives and for social field in general.
