So here it is – two more weeks have just passed and I am in Perugia almost a month already! What did happen in the last two weeks? Pitti Immagine Uomo no. 92! And anyone who is into fashion as much as I am can understand that participation in this global massive and creative fashion trade fair is undoubtedly not only a must, but also a privilege.
This twice per year organised fair last week attracted more than 30 000 visitors from all over the world who had a chance not only to purchase the fashion innovations for men for 2018, but also to participate in the special catwalks, related events or simply gaze at the stylish fashion influencers, who all the days were walking around and showing everybody the newest tendencies by wearing them.
The company that now I have a chance to work with and to learn from, “Pashmere”, had it’s booth in the main exhibition area. There I had a chance to learn more about the production, it’s presentation to the constantly returning and potential customers, as well as in general to feel the importance of being a part of this fashion trade fair. This was undoubtedly useful for me and no less interesting – until visiting Pitti Uomo I have only had an experience of being in the “other side” (while being a Purchasing Manager have visited similar by the idea fashion trade fairs in China, but all the time I was the one buying and ordering new collections, not presenting one, I was the customer).
