During the first week of my stay at Outdoor Portofino I had a chance to get acquainted with the specifics of this company. The owner of the company, Luca Tixi introduced me to differents kinds of offer each day and I met also with the instructor responsible for the various kinds of attraction. Luca introduced me the Outdoor Portofino offers, including kayaking trips, SUP boards trips, swimming lessons, and snorkeling tours to admire the rich fauna and flora of the Ligurian coastline. In addition, the company also rents water equipment and organizes special children’s camps called “School of Nature”.

I became acquainted exactly the different types of sea kayaks and their destiny. I was thoroughly introduced the safety issues of kayaking and the most common hazards. Finally, I participated in kayak trips with adults, children, families and organised groups from all over the world. The trips were conducted by experienced instructors and I had a role of an assistant. Thanks to these expeditions I also had chance to get to know the most interesting tourist attractions of the region and its history such us Portofino coast, Niasca bay, Paraggi bay, Portofino lighhouse.
