I arrived at the HE on the 8 of June. First time I entered in the office everything just sort of felt all right, like I was part of something, a big family. The first day I had the pleasure to meet the staff and I immediately felt at home.
These first weeks have passed very quickly: a lot of things to do and especially to learn.
To get to know the company that hosts me I got to explain why and how EANAM was created: it is a very innovative company and I was curious to find out how it evolved through time and the different challenges that they have every day.
During these first weeks I have carefully observed the work of my Host, such as organizing the work to be done, the various meetings and from the second week I had the opportunity to let me explain the various stages of evaluation of a European project, considering that it’s the main activity carried out this week. So, these weeks have been very focused on issues strictly related to the evaluation of European projects. Obviously this step come after a deep analysis of the call of proposal published on institutional websites and a detailed explanation of criteria that must comply with the various proposals.
With regards to these last two weeks, I am participating in the management of EANAM’s everyday business, with a particular focus on trainings activities. This include a special involvement in EANAM’s various training courses, and in this phase we are focusing our attention on their preparation (collection of documents, creation of guidebooks and materials).
Every day here is exciting, I am so glad I have made the decision to participate in this Project, next week we are going to start with a focus on the office training activities. I’ll keep you posted.
