I’m planning my social enterprise, Moto Vivo, focused on peace education and non-formal learning for youth empowerment. To gain the necessary entrepreneurial foundation, I partnered with 3IN Social, a company specializing in international mobility and Erasmus+ project management. This Host was strategically chosen for its expertise in the financial and operational models essential for my business idea. I discovered the EYE program through. my network and decided to participate to bridge my theoretical knowledge with real-world experience. The exchange’s expected benefits were concentrated on three areas: mastering Mobility Project Management, enhancing Strategic Development through hands-on EU grant analysis, partnership mapping, and attending external training; and contributing to Capacity Building by designing and reviewing pedagogical workshops.
Throughout my exchange, my relationship with the Host Entrepreneur was defined by active collaboration, transparent communication, and strategic development. I explored and analyzed regional and EU grants (including DIPU, GENCAT, and ESC), mapping opportunities relevant to the host entity. I significantly supported project cycles by contributing to proposal drafting, budget preparation, project presentations, and detailed planning for applications like ESC and CreixESS. A core activity was international and local partnership development, involving extensive networking and partner meetings for the ALMA Project (both Sending and Hosting) to expand the organization’s reach. Furthermore, I strengthened internal capacity by managing the full cycle of young ALMA placements, leading coaching and tutoring sessions and designing and delivering workshops on key skills like conflict management. This mutual work on real-time projects and strategy was fundamental to my learning and contribution.
I significantly enhanced my business planning and financial acumen, mastering grant analysis and funding search techniques and developing proficiency in project budget planning and basic finances. Strategically, I learned to design effective networking strategies and gained a profound understanding of new venture establishment through studying the cooperative constitution and managing process. Crucially, I recognized the importance of identifying new partnership opportunities, which I plan to actively develop further. My soft skills improved through leading internal capacity building (Formación Interna), resulting in better project presentation, workshop design (Desarrollo de Taller), and practical leadership application. Actively seeking and integrating my HE’s feedback allowed for significant personal and professional reflection regarding my value and leadership within a team.
The experience was positive, but it revealed the need to deepen my strategic autonomy. My enthusiasm focuses on developing the capacity to identify and propose new cooperation opportunities and improvements. I still need to master the financial management and legal process of the cooperative.
