My name is Aleksandra, I am from Poland and I am an emerging designer with an interest in developing my creative practice into an independent, international business. My Host is the owner of a creative studio based in Brescia, Italy. The studio provided an environment in which I could observe the daily work of creatives, learn about processes and gain practical insight into working in an international context. Participating in Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs gave me the opportunity to better understand the realities of a creative business and to explore how I can develop my own professional path.
During my EYE stay, I directly participated in creative projects working on brand identities, visual materials and web design. I was guided by senior designers and the creative director, who was also my Host.
During the stay, I significantly developed my creative and vocational skills, which are crucial to my career path. Working alongside designers and a creative director also helped me improve my ability to collaborate, communicate ideas and adapt to different project requirements. I also gained valuable insight into the international creative industry, which may create opportunities for future collaborations and support the further development of my independent design practice.
