My name is Justyna. I am a professional Spanish translator, language teacher, and founder of an independent language business. My academic background is rooted in Spanish Philology, where I specialized in Translation Studies and Pedagogy. This education provided me with a strong linguistic foundation and formal teaching methodology. My professional focus centers on the language and educational sectors, specifically written translation and tailored Spanish classes for individual clients. In terms of translation, I am currently preparing for the sworn translator examination, while in language teaching, I am particularly interested in the rapidly growing field of neurodidactics. Additionally, I actively explore various management strategies for small businesses.
My decision to join the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program stems from a desire to transform my enterprise and the inspiration I drew from an entrepreneur I follow on social media, whose experience in the exchange motivated me to apply. Initially, I delayed enrolling because I was somewhat skeptical about the program. However, after running my business for two and a half years, I began facing professional burnout and realized I urgently needed a structural change. I felt the strong need to learn better work organization and operational management from an experienced entrepreneur in my sector. Furthermore, preparing for and participating in this program served as a direct catalyst for me to redefine and improve the terms of cooperation with my current clients.
I strongly believe this participation will accelerate both my professional and personal growth. Professionally, my main objectives are mastering effective client acquisition strategies and refining my translation skills in a new specialized niche. Learning how an established business manages client pipelines and operational workflows will help me build a more sustainable business model. On a personal level, working in an international setting will enhance my adaptability, cross-cultural competence, and confidence as a business owner, while expanding my professional network across Europe.
