During the first half of my Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs experience, I can say that my journey has been both stimulating and challenging in a positive way. Overall, I am feeling good in my host organization, even if the rhythm of the work changes a lot depending on the period.
There are weeks that are more focused on office work, such as administrative tasks and funding applications, and others that are more connected to the gallery and its public activities. I enjoy experiencing both sides, as they give me a more complete understanding of how a cultural organization works. However, at times I feel the need for a clearer routine and more structured processes, especially when tasks change frequently.
Compared to the beginning of my stay, especially around February, I now feel more involved and engaged. At that time, much of the work was related to internal and administrative tasks, which felt more distant from the creative side of the organization. Now, I am actively involved in the preparation of an event that will take place in mid-April, and this has changed my experience significantly.

What makes this phase particularly exciting is that I have been given more responsibility, I’m having the opportunity to manage parts of the project more independently. This has been one of the most important aspects of my experience so far. Being trusted and having the possibility to make decisions makes me feel more confident and motivated and I believe this is one of the best ways to learn.
Emotionally, I would describe this period as a mix of adaptation and enthusiasm. I am learning that every job includes both aspects that we enjoy more and others that are more challenging.
I feel that the objectives of the program are being met, especially in terms of gaining practical experience and understanding how a cultural project is developed from the inside. For the second half of my exchange, I would like to continue working with this level of involvement and responsibility.
Overall, I feel grateful for this experience and for the trust I am receiving.
