Hi everybody! My name is Julia, I’m from Kraków (Poland) and I am spending my EYE at Scudit Scuola d’Italiano Roma.
I am a teacher of Polish as a foreign language. Last year I started my own business project VIA GIULIA whereby I focus on teaching Polish to Italians. I chose Scudit because it’s a highly qualified school of Italian language and culture for foreigners which was founded in Rome by Roberto Tartaglione, the school’s director for over twenty years. Roberto is an expert in teaching Italian as a foreign and second language and has written several Italian grammar books for foreign students.
I’m taking part in the EYE Programme because I want to learn how to plan, promote and conduct language courses of various levels and to study how to prepare an interesting offer, appropriate for the clients of different age, using the cultural and historical potential of my own city.
During my first 2 weeks in Rome I had a chance to get acquainted with the specifics of Scudit. The director Roberto Tartaglione introduced me to all the most important things I should know to start my job. He presented me the detailed programme of the language courses and cultural activities for the following semester. The school will start the international promotion of the upcoming courses soon, so I got involved immediately into search of Polish universities, schools and institutions with which Scudit could collaborate.
I am looking forward to the next months and all new experiences. I think Scudit Scuola d’Italiano Roma was the best choice where to experience my adventure within the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Programme!
