Here I am for the sixth and, unfortunately, last report of my experience at Fyne Ales Brewery.
Last two weeks went so quickly, maybe because I’ve learned well the tasks that I’ve been committed.
During the first week we’ve cleaned and tidied up all the brewery, as they usually do every new year.
The second week had been the most difficult one, in terms of feelings, as I imagined: I started to realize that the experience was nearly ended and during every break we had all together I was getting a bit sad.
On Thursday I prepared Cappelletti in broth, a typical dish of my region, to thank them for all they gave me, in terms of experience and human relationship.
It was a fantastic experience, full of joy for new knowledges, new colleagues but most of all new friends; moreover it was in Scotland, a country that is in my heart since I was here the first time on holiday, five years ago.
I hope to see them soon, hopefully during Fyne Fest, a beer festival that will have place in the fields beside the brewery in early June.
