My past weeks in Florence were very intense… so many things happened so that I don’t how to start. But let’s try. First of all, I must admit that recently I am working with my colleagues on a very interesting project. It’s a renovation of a beautiful and historic villa located among the Tuscan hills. The owners of this property come from Denmark and they are very exigent. Every detail must be perfectly designed. I’m preparing interior drawings, sketches and interesting arrangement solutions. More or less every two-three days we have a group conference combined with a brain storming. We analyse all the issues and check if it’s going well. For me one of the best things is that I have a real contact with the client. I have to answer to his questions and try to present all my ideas. At the beginnig it seems to be very easy, but the truth is that it’s very complicated to maintain a good relaionship with a client if we don’t agree with his ideas. I’m very happy that I can experience all these things…I’m learning so much on every field of this profession. Besides getting new architectural skills, I’m also improving my italian and english. My colleagues or actually my friends are so talkative and openminded! During lunchbreaks we talk about music, films, history, culture…it’s so nice to be sorrounded by such a nice people. Recently we even had a chance to go out all together. We were all invited to Niccolini Theater to see the play called Prigionia di Alekos. It’s one of the oldest theaters in Florence, renovated some time ago by my Host Entrepenur-Andre Benaim. He was also the author of the set design for this theater play. It was amazing to see sketches of this scenography on his desk and then to see it all arranged on the stage! It was beautiful! We all had a great evening and I’m very grateful that I could be a part of this event. I will rember it for a long time… TO BE CONTINUED.
Pozdrawiam,
