I’m a tour leader, I’m a tour leader and I have been working in the hospitality sector in Italy for the past 8 years mainly with American customers.
I have been part of European projects since I was 20 years old, joining exchanges, training courses, EVS and then working within the organization.
I don’t remember exactly how I discovered EYE, probably through some friend. I decided to join the program because I thought it could be a great opportunity to see how the job market works in another country and to exchange competences, ideas, good practices.
I have always benefited from European project, so I told myself, why not?

The activities I carried out included creating social media posts for HE’s accounts, scouting new influencers and travel companies to invite them to the events organized by the HE and ideating, writing, and sending newsletters for one of her clients.

The working relationship was not positive. We discussed this several times, and she never dedicated time to my project, which she was supposed to support.

These could be future prospects of cooperation, skills developed, contacts made…
Being in a city like New York was a great experience. I met many people and built valuable contacts. I created and experimented with new content for my project’s social media and worked on developing my ideas.
The experience in New York was very positive, although short. However, my experience with the Host Entrepreneur was negative.
