I’m Nicola from Romania, passionate about entrepreneurship and eager to learn directly from experienced professionals. I discovered the EYE program through a friend and found it an excellent opportunity to gain practical knowledge. My host, Marcello, is an experienced entrepreneur in his field, and we met during an event in Bucharest where we discussed potential collaboration. I decided to participate in EYE to develop the skills and insights needed to start my own business in the near future and to better understand how to manage and grow a successful enterprise.
At the beginning of my EYE stay, I focused on learning the company’s complex operational processes to gain a full understanding of the business model. After this initial training, I supported back-office activities, helping with documentation and coordination tasks. Once I became fully familiar with the operations, I managed the entire sales process — from sourcing potential clients and initiating contact to negotiating and closing deals. The collaboration with my Host was smooth and constructive, allowing me to learn directly from his experience and apply the knowledge in real situations.
During my EYE stay, I significantly improved my sales and negotiation skills, as well as my ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively. I also built a valuable professional network, which opened opportunities for future collaborations. One of the most important outcomes is that I secured a full-time position as a Sales Manager for Toyota, allowing me to apply the skills and experience gained during the program directly to my new role and continue growing in the sector.
Participating in EYE was an amazing experience — I learned directly from an experienced entrepreneur and grew both professionally and personally.
