I am a creative technologist, which means I scout for new tools and technologies to both propose innovative user experiences and create audio-visual content for marketing purposes. I discovered the program while browsing online. My host owns a pasta shop, and we had an agreement to produce five videos using AI tools. New York City needs no introduction; I’ve felt from the very beginning that spending time here would be inspiring—a chance to look around, visit museums dedicated to so-called immersive art, and take notes from a tech perspective.

There must have been a major misunderstanding with the host, who likely thought I was a content creator. Downplaying my skills, once I arrived, he asked me to simply take photos of his pasta dishes, overlooking the AI element and considering it marginal compared to his goal of just getting some audio-visual material to use.

I do not foresee any future collaboration.

Host entrepreneurs should understand clearly that this project is not about obtaining cheap, unskilled labor for free.
