I am a recent graduate in Languages with a strong interest in education, communication, and intercultural exchange. My business idea is to create personalized Italian language courses for foreigners, combining linguistic training with cultural immersion. My Host is an experienced English teacher who runs a language school, providing an ideal environment to explore the dynamics of language education and business management. I discovered the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme through friends and colleagues who had positive experiences. I decided to participate to challenge myself in a new professional setting, develop entrepreneurial skills, and gain hands-on experience that will help me shape and grow my own business.
I was actively involved in a variety of tasks that contributed to the daily operations of the language school. These included supporting the organization of language courses, assisting with student communication, observing and co-leading lessons, and contributing to the development of teaching materials. The relationship with my Host was both professional and enriching. As an experienced language teacher and entrepreneur, he provided valuable mentorship and shared practical insights into the challenges and rewards of running an educational business.
Working closely with my Host helped me gain insight into how to manage and promote a language school, while also improving my teaching approach.
Education is the first step toward change—this experience proved it.
