I am a freelance photographer specializing in women’s, fashion, and wedding photography. My host is a experienced photographer and owner of a creative studio in Syracuse, Italy, focusing on portrait and fashion photography.
My business idea
My goal is to grow my photography business by offering high-quality, creative photo sessions for women, as well as destination weddings and personal branding photography.
How I discovered the program & why I joined
I learned about the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program through online research and social media. I decided to join because it offered the opportunity to gain international experience, expand my network, and develop new creative skills.
Expected benefits
I aimed to improve my photography techniques, learn how to manage a photography studio, and explore new business strategies to strengthen my own brand.
Examples of activities during my stay
During the program, I assisted in various photography projects, including individual studio sessions, outdoor portrait shoots, and wedding photography. I contributed to concept development and post-production. I also supported the daily operation of the studio, including set preparation, and workflow organization.

Relationship with the host
My collaboration with the host was strickly professional. We exchanged ideas, shared photography techniques, and worked together on different types of projects.
Through this program, I gained valuable insight into the photography market abroad and observed different approaches to running a creative business in another country. Experiencing cultural differences first-hand allowed me to understand how they influence client relations, communication, and work organization. These observations have given me new perspectives and ideas on how I want to shape and manage my own business in the future.
This experience gave me a unique perspective on how cultural differences shape creative businesses.
