My name is Magdalena Maria Królikowska, a Polish attorney and entrepreneur developing Immigro, a digital platform simplifying immigration processes through automation and blockchain. My host, Chris Elkington, an expert in business strategy, has provided invaluable mentorship.
I discovered the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYE) program while seeking international expertise to refine Immigro’s market strategy, legal framework, and technology. The program offered mentorship, networking, and insights into funding opportunities.
Although we did not achieve all the intended goals, the exchange was a valuable learning experience for both sides. It allowed us to gain deeper insights into business development, strategic planning, and international collaboration. The knowledge, skills, and connections gained will have a lasting impact on my entrepreneurial journey, making the program a truly enriching experience.
During my EYE stay, I engaged in various activities aimed at developing Immigro, including market research, networking with legal firms, and exploring blockchain integration to enhance platform security. I also worked on refining the business strategy, preparing grant applications, and analyzing potential expansion opportunities in European markets.
My relationship with my Host, Chris Elkington, was positive—he is a kind and creative individual with many innovative ideas. However, while I gained valuable insights and support, I expected more opportunities for direct business development. The relatively short duration of the exchange may have limited the full realization of all available possibilities. Nevertheless, the experience provided me with useful knowledge, new perspectives, and practical skills, which will contribute to my entrepreneurial growth in the long term.

During my EYE exchange, I gained valuable business insights, expanded my professional network, and refined Immigro’s market strategy. I developed skills in strategic planning, international collaboration, and blockchain implementation, which will benefit my entrepreneurial journey.
The exchange allowed me to establish contacts with legal firms and consultants, opening potential avenues for future partnerships. While the short duration limited some opportunities, it provided a strong foundation for growth and a better understanding of the challenges in scaling a digital immigration platform.
Although not all initial goals were achieved, the experience broadened my perspective, improved my adaptability, and strengthened my ability to navigate the startup ecosystem. The skills and connections gained during this program will be instrumental in Immigro’s future development and expansion into new markets.
The EYE program was a valuable learning experience that expanded my perspective on business development and international collaboration. While the short duration limited some opportunities, I gained new skills, strategic insights, and valuable connections that will support my entrepreneurial journey
