I am a creative and strategic mind with a background in personal branding, marketing, community building, and holistic movement practices. My business idea centers around creating meaningful, sustainable spaces—both online and offline—that create connection, wellbeing, and authentic expression. My Host Entrepreneur runs Cactus Coliving, a community-focused coliving space in the Canary Islands dedicated to digital nomads and remote workers. I discovered the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYE) programme through a friend and saw it as a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the coliving industry. I joined the programme to deepen my skills in community hosting, branding, and sustainable business practices. I expected this exchange to offer valuable mentorship, broaden my network, and provide real-world knowledge I can apply to future projects in the wellbeing and coliving space.

During my EYE stay, I was actively involved in managing the digital calendar, supporting marketing tasks, and initiating collaborations with influencers and aligned individuals to enhance the brand’s visibility. I also co-hosted family dinners and facilitated personal development and movement workshops tailored to the needs of digital nomads.

While I encountered some challenges with certain tasks that didn’t align with my natural working style, I view this as a valuable part of the learning process. It helped me gain clarity on what energizes me professionally and what doesn’t, which is just as important as discovering what I want to pursue.

During my EYE stay, I developed stronger skills in community hosting, event facilitation, and brand communication. I had the chance to experiment with leading my own workshops, which boosted my confidence and gave me valuable feedback for future offerings. I also gained clarity on what kind of business model and working environment suits me best. Through this experience, I built meaningful connections with digital nomads, entrepreneurs, and wellness practitioners from across Europe—many of whom I may collaborate with in the future. I also deepened my understanding of how to create and hold space for others, both online and offline, which aligns with my long-term vision of building intentional, sustainable communities.

What I learned and that’s super important: I don’t think a coliving business will suit my style, at least now, and maybe I was unclear about it before, but now, experiencing it, it makes total sense for me to not do it.

The exchange came with both enriching moments and challenges. It offered clarity on my work style, helped me test new ideas, and gave me insight into what kind of business model and lifestyle truly suit me.
