My name is Harrie, and I’m 19 years old. I’m passionate about football and the world around me, and I have a keen interest in analyzing and managing talented young individuals, especially in the context of sports. This passion has driven me to think more about the potential of young talents, both on and off the field.
My host, Nil, is an entrepreneur who focuses on working with talented youth, particularly those aged between 8 and 17. Nil’s business revolves around helping young people discover and develop their skills, whether in sports, language, or other areas of personal growth. Nil’s work in mentoring and guiding young talents has been an inspiration for my business idea.
My business idea is to focus on the management and analysis of talented young children, particularly in sports, with a specific focus on football. I want to create a platform or service that helps nurture these talents by offering training, mentorship, and opportunities to grow.
At the beginning of my journey with my host, Nil, our relationship was a bit challenging due to some miscommunications. We were still learning how to work together effectively, which led to a few misunderstandings. However, as time went on, things improved significantly. We worked through these communication hurdles and found a rhythm that allowed us to collaborate more efficiently. With better understanding and clearer communication, I was able to take on more responsibility and contribute independently to the business.
Throughout my journey in the football world, I’ve made significant strides both professionally and socially. While working with my host, Nil, and managing the development of young athletes, I’ve learned the importance of building relationships and networking. These connections have expanded my professional horizons and played a crucial role in my personal growth.
One of the most exciting aspects of my work has been engaging with various football academies, coaches, and key figures in the sports industry. Over time, I’ve built a network of valuable contacts passionate about talent development. By reaching out to other academies and learning from experienced professionals, I’ve opened doors to immense opportunities for the young talents in our program. These partnerships could lead to training camps, scouting opportunities, and even sponsorships.
I’ve learned a lot during this experience, but I would prefer a more interactive internship next time. Engaging more directly with the team and the day-to-day operations would help me develop practical skills and make a greater impact in the field.
