In these 6 months of activities carried out with the ERASMUS project, I have learned many things about the job. I entered the project as a Guest House intern and the work was oriented on welcoming customers, carefully following customer requests, resolving and managing every claim by the client and how to present a room or a house to customers. In a few words the basics of everything a Guest House needs to know
The main objective of the project was to quickly and effectively learn all the skills of the trade starting from the base that is the customer reception and then continuing on the presentation of common areas such as kitchen, living room and terrace, and then continuing to the sleeping area and presentation of sanitary services.

After that I learned to understand, manage and solve the claims and requests from customers regarding the accommodation, such as for example when the person in charge of cleaning, the laundry management, breakfast, lunch and dinner times, the subdivision of common areas etc.
Finally I also learned new terms to be more professional and finally also how to dismiss customers.
If it were possible to continue in the project I would remain without problems but now it’s up to me to get involved, after this experience I will definitely open my own business and try to give excellence to my next clients. I strongly suggest to anyone interested in living a similar experience to get involved, try and be positive.
I can only give positive feedback to this experience, I would first like to thank the people who gave me the opportunity to live this experience, especially the girl who chose me for the project and learn from her many positive and fundamental things to be able to open my business.
