I am a Social Researcher specializing in rural development, cultural and creative industries, and the youth. Rural Radicals is an innovation studio supporting the development of creative spaces in non-urban areas. My business idea is to assist organizations with turning research into practice. I learned about EYE from LinkedIn and I decided to participate to grow my skills and professional network.
I assisted Rural Radicals with 1) co-leading the Transforming Rural Landscapes (TRL) international LEADER cooperation project, focusing on the regeneration of underused rural infrastructure, 2) developing the CRM and communicating with Leads, 3) doing research on impact assessment and product design, 4) facilitating events, workshops and customer support.
Rural Landscapes suggested that I should continue working with them on the LEADER project as a freelance contractor and I was more than happy to accept the offer. I developed skills regarding communication with leads, coordination of creative and design thinking activities with large groups, CRM and newsletter tools, applied research and impact assessment. I grew my network and my professional opportunities in the field of rural and peripheral development through the creative sector.
