I studied Art History at the University of Bologna, and following my graduation, I worked for over a year at the city’s Civic Museums of Ancient Art.
After learning about the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program through a friend and researching its framework, I realized it represented an outstanding opportunity for me. I have always been drawn to international experiences—having previously spent time in Barcelona and Prague—and
I decided to participate due to the significant linguistic, professional, and personal benefits the program offers.
Consequently, I have secured a collaboration with Todo Tours SL, an agency specialized in guided tours in Madrid. My objective was to lay the groundwork for my future career in this sector by mastering tour operations and client management. Furthermore, I aimed to enhance my language proficiency and acquire skills in content creation using editing systems and Artificial Intelligence, both of which are increasingly vital in today’s job market.
The relationship with the host entrepreneurs, namely Lara and Antonio, was highly collaborative from the very beginning. They provided comprehensive support from start to finish, accommodating the exchange period, working hours, and the tasks to be carried out. My primary responsibilities included assisting during guided tours, creating promotional content for social media, and planning trips and guided tours across various European countries.
In addition to the aforementioned professional growth acquired through the Erasmus program—which yielded significant linguistic, knowledge-based, organizational, and technological benefits—this experience has provided tangible support for my future entrepreneurial venture. Indeed, the relationship with the host entrepreneur will continue once I register as self-employed, enabling them to support my project through newly designed tours and mutually agreed-upon itineraries.
