I’m Arianna Orsomarso, I’m 24, I’m an Interpreter and Translator. My HE is the owner of a small business located in the centre of Dublin. It is a cafè. I’d like to open a business related to linguistic services and I decided to participate to improve my English skills and to learn how to run a business. I discovered the EYE programme thanks to a friend of mine that works in Bruxelles into a IO.
My host was not always in the cafè with us but he was always giving us instructions and monitoring everything. I use to work as a barista trying to learn everything on the products sold and then I started managing the place by telling everybody what to do and how to organise the daily activities.
I learnt how to work under pressure, how to be a problem solving person and how to deal with customers. I also learnt how to work in a team and how to be a leader, improving my organisational and English skills.
