I participated in the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program with Reinvent Education, a Greek organization specialized in digital education, inclusion, and environemental sustainability. My business idea, Agorazo, is an ethical digital marketplace that empowers small producers and artisans through training, technology, and sustainable logistics. I first discovered EYE years ago during an information session about EU programs at my university, and since then I wanted to join because of my strong entrepreneurial spirit and interest in social innovation. I participated in EYE to learn how social enterprises operate from inside, explore innovative approaches, and acquire practical tools to develop and scale my own social impact business in the future.
During my EYE stay with EINVENT Education, I collaborated on EU fundedinitiatives related to digital inclusion, sustainability, and entrepreneurship training. My host gave me the flexibility to contribute both to their projects and to the development of my own business idea, Agorazo. One day per week, I dedicated time to independently research and map European and international competitions, grants, and companies potentially interested in supporting my concept. This allowed me to identify funding opportunities and calls related to inclusive technologies and digital transformation. Additionally, I helped design educational materials and EU project proposals, while gaining practical insight into how European organizations operate and collaborate. This combination of mentorship, autonomy, and networking made the experience deeply enriching and productive.
This experience gave me a more realistic and grounded perspective on my business idea. Initially, Agorazo was a highly ambitious concept, but through mentoring and reflection, I learned how to make it more feasible and strategic—considering, for example, transforming it into a European project or social initiative before creating a full company. I also gained extensive knowledge about EU funding opportunities for digital and inclusive technologies and connected with organizations that share my values and mission. Together with my host, I promoted the idea in various competitions such as UN Beyond Challenge and I am now awaiting feedback. The exchange strengthened my entrepreneurial mindset, expanded my European network, and helped me understand how to translate vision into actionable steps.
The EYE experience allowed me to merge creativity, purpose, and realism. It showed me how ethical innovation and cross-European cooperation can transform an initial vision into a concrete step toward sustainable and inclusive entrepreneurship.
