I am an aspiring entrepreneur with a background in digital communication and marketing. My business idea focuses on launching a creative agency that provides strategic content, branding, and social media management for NGOs working with EU Funds. I discovered the EYE program while researching opportunities to gain entrepreneurial experience abroad. I chose to participate to improve my skills in digital strategy and development. My Host, Asociación Uno in Valencia, works at the intersection of social innovation, creative communication, and cultural projects—making it the perfect environment to grow professionally. I expected to strengthen my marketing strategy, learn how to merge with a team, and adapt creative workflows from a more established organisation. The program offered the ideal setting to explore practical applications of my business concept in an international context.
During my EYE stay, I worked as a social media and communication assistant for Asociación Uno. I followed and documented various local activities in Valencia, such as training courses and workshops, by creating content, managing social media, and supporting their dissemination efforts. I also monitored events and Erasmus+ mobilities held abroad from a distance, supporting visibility and communication by sharing updates, editing materials, and coordinating remote content. Although I didn’t attend those events in person, I ensured their communication impact was aligned with the organisation’s goals. The relationship with my Host was excellent, marked by open communication, continuous feedback, and a strong spirit of collaboration.
Through the EYE program, I significantly improved my skills in digital communication, social media strategy, and content creation tailored for international projects. I gained hands-on experience in managing visibility for Erasmus+ activities and strengthened my ability to adapt messaging for different audiences. This experience also helped me better understand the internal dynamics of a nonprofit organization working across Europe. I established valuable contacts in the cultural and educational sectors, which could lead to future collaborations. The Host provided continuous feedback and mentoring, which helped shape a more structured and strategic approach to my own business idea. We are now exploring possibilities for continued cooperation beyond the EYE program.
This experience has been a turning point for my professional growth. Working with Asociación Uno allowed me to refine my communication skills and gain insights into European project dynamics—an invaluable boost for launching my own agency
