My experience so far with the Fuerte Tribu surf school has been incredibly enriching, both professionally and personally. Collaborating with an organization so deeply committed to inclusivity and social impact aligns perfectly with my values. Supporting programs aimed at empowering individuals with disabilities and other marginalized groups has been a truly transformative experience.
In my role, I have focused on enhancing the school’s marketing and content strategies, increasing awareness of its initiatives, and engaging the local and global community. These efforts have already started to create meaningful outcomes, such as heightened visibility and interest in the school’s social programs.
The knowledge and skills I’ve gained thus far have also equipped me to adapt these strategies for the Polish market, where I hope to develop similar social initiatives in the future.
Moreover, beside the market and the field, I’ve learned new language – spanish in which i start to communicate and I developed my english and italian language skills thanks to diverse international environment at my work place.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my experience has been participating in workshops organized for children and young people. These sessions aim to inspire creativity, build confidence, and encourage teamwork. I have had the opportunity to assist in planning activities that combine surfing with educational and therapeutic elements, providing participants with an unforgettable experience. Observing how these workshops empower the participants and contribute to their personal development has been deeply fulfilling.
By working on the surf school’s website, I have developed skills in updating content, analyzing traffic data, and implementing strategies to ensure the site aligns with the organization’s mission and appeals to a broad audience. This has been an exciting and rewarding challenge, as I see how these improvements directly contribute to the school’s outreach and impact.
I would like to continue my exchange as long as I can.
I feel that objectives are not only being met, but I learn so much more that I’ve even expected.
