The first half of my stay abroad has been a meaningful, emotional and transformative experience. When I arrived, I felt a mix of excitement and uncertainty — I wasn’t sure how quickly I would adapt to a new country, a new rhythm and the expectations of the program. Now, looking back, I can honestly say that this time has changed me in a positive way. I feel more confident, more flexible, and more aware of my own strengths and the areas where I still want to grow.
One of the most important parts of this experience has been the people I work with. From the very beginning, I was lucky to be surrounded by supportive and patient colleagues who were ready to help whenever I needed it. Their openness made it easier for me to ask questions, learn actively and slowly feel like part of the team. Even small, everyday interactions — like coffee breaks or short conversations — helped me feel more comfortable and encouraged me to participate and take initiative.
Of course, not everything has been easy. During the first weeks, I faced a few challenges. Sometimes it was the language barrier — I understood the general idea, but missed some details. Sometimes it was simply adapting to a different pace of work and a slightly different work culture. There were days when I doubted myself, but each time I overcame a difficulty, I felt stronger and more confident. These challenges became valuable lessons that pushed me to adapt, learn and keep moving forward.
There were also significant moments that shaped how I view this program. Some tasks turned out to be more demanding and responsible than I had expected, which made me nervous at first. But at the same time, these situations motivated me to prepare better, take more initiative and step out of my comfort zone. I also realized how important transparent communication is — especially when something is unclear or when I need support. This experience is teaching me not to hesitate to ask for help, because people are usually far more understanding than we think.

Regarding the program objectives, I truly feel that they are being met. I am gaining new professional skills, learning about a different entrepreneurial environment, and becoming more confident working in an international context. But perhaps the most valuable part is personal growth: I am learning to manage stress better, to organize my time and to trust the process even when everything is new and unfamiliar.
As for what could be improved for the second half of the exchange, I see one important point that could make the experience even more enriching. Since the exchange takes place in Lithuania, it would be wonderful to have a small language component — even a basic course of Lithuanian. At work, we communicate in my native language or in English, which is comfortable, but being in Lithuania makes me want to understand more about the local culture. A three-month stay is long enough to learn simple, everyday phrases and feel more integrated. Even a minimal language module would make the experience deeper and more connected to the country hosting me.
Apart from this, everything is going very well. I feel that I am growing, learning new things, and gaining insights that will be useful in my business and personal development. The first half of the program has been a combination of challenges, discoveries and genuine satisfaction. I am grateful for this opportunity to be here, to learn, to make mistakes, and to grow. I look forward to the second half of the exchange with optimism and curiosity, ready to continue building on what I have already achieved.
