Three months have already passed since the beginning of my experience with the program, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the choice I made. When I started this adventure, I knew it would be an opportunity for growth, but I never imagined I would enjoy it so much in every aspect. Every day, I realize how much this experience is contributing not only to my professional development but also to my personal growth.
The chosen location has proven to be the perfect place to work while maintaining a more relaxed lifestyle. The climate is certainly one of the aspects I appreciate the most: sunny days, mild temperatures, and the opportunity to enjoy the sea even in winter make life here very pleasant. What struck me the most is the quality of life—people seem more relaxed, and the pace is much less frantic compared to what I was used to. I am gradually adapting to a lifestyle that balances productivity with social interactions and personal well-being. I find it particularly stimulating to have the opportunity to work in different environments beyond the host’s office, including coworking spaces and cafés. This balance allows me to be both creative and focused on my work at the same time.
Over the past few months, I have had the chance to meet many people, not only in a professional context but also in daily life. There is an international and dynamic atmosphere here, making it easy to connect with others who, like me, have decided to move for a shorter or longer period.
From a strictly professional point of view, working in a different environment is helping me develop new skills and gain firsthand experience in handling the daily challenges of running a business. My host is placing trust in me and giving me responsibilities, allowing me to apply my knowledge in practice while experimenting with new strategies. This hands-on approach is exactly what I was looking for: on one hand, I am leveraging my SEO expertise -technical analysis, content creation, and optimization of existing content – while on the other, I am learning about the business side of things, both in strategic and practical aspects. For example, I am improving my website management skills, working with different CMS platforms, and deepening my knowledge of advanced digital marketing strategies.
Additionally, I have the opportunity to connect with other freelance professionals working in my field or related industries, creating a network of contacts that could prove valuable in the future.
These first three months have been intense and rewarding, and I can’t wait to see what the second half of my journey has in store!
