Having reached the halfway point of my experience, I am very satisfied with how things are going. Besides having found a positive environment, the goals and challenges to be achieved have made it professionally stimulating. Among all, the freedom I was given to propose ideas and how to realize them is one of the things I appreciate the most. For this reason, it has been possible to meet several of the objectives we planned before the program started.
In addition, I had the opportunity to grow fast from a professional perspective, taking responsibility, managing situations, and finding solutions.
During my stay I had also the opportunity to travel to represent my organization in European meetings related to cooperative projects or the theme of “sport for development”. In particular, during my journeys to the Netherlands and Portugal, I could make my networking stronger, by meeting a lot of professionals involved in this job field. In addition, we have hosted several organisations at our centre for training days that have enabled me to improve my skills and knowledge of the sector. Finally, due to an European project, my colleagues and I will travel to France in April. The opportunity to travel through this job was new to me, which makes me even more motivated to try to develop my own business in this area.
Among the activities I do, the ‘Club Deportivo’ is the one I am most involved in. Among my activities, the ‘Club Deportivo’ is the one in which I am most involved. It forms part of the ‘Barrio del Pilar’ project, aimed at young people in the neighbourhood. Directing this programme has allowed me to perfect my qualities as an educator, as well as an English teacher.
Last but not least, I am understanding this sector in its entirety. I am referring to the problems that can arise in project management or in relations with partners. Thanks to these situations, I am becoming aware of the importance of proper planning in order to be able to realise objectives.
Condidering all these, I can consider my experience by now very positive and in line with the goal we planned to achieve at the beginning.
