As I reach the halfway point of my Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs exchange in Portugal, I can honestly say that this experience has exceeded all my expectations. Looking back on the past months, I feel incredibly grateful, inspired, and motivated. It is difficult to put into words how much this journey has already contributed to my personal and professional development.

From the very beginning I felt welcomed by both the team and the local community. Every day, I go to the studio with genuine excitement and curiosity. What makes this experience so special is the incredible variety of learning opportunities I encounter every day. I am learning not only on an artistic level, but also in terms of craftsmanship, entrepreneurship, and even educational work.

One of the most rewarding aspects has been becoming part of a team that has grown very close to my heart. Working alongside experienced and passionate people has allowed me to gain insights that would be impossible to learn from books alone. Their openness, trust, and willingness to share their knowledge have made a lasting impression on me.

The studio is involved in many different projects, which means that no two days are the same. Recently, I have had the opportunity to participate in the planning and delivery of workshops for a wide range of participants, including children, teenagers, families, and adults. Seeing how creative activities can bring people together and create meaningful learning experiences has been fascinating, inspiring and also a lot of fun.ù

Another highlight has been the preparation of exhibitions. During my stay so far, we have successfully organized two exhibitions, and being involved in these projects gave me valuable insights into the planning, coordination, and presentation of artistic work. At the same time, I continue to develop my own ceramic skills through daily studio practice, constantly improving my techniques and deepening my understanding of the craft.

From an entrepreneurial perspective, I have learned an enormous amount. Participating in planning activities and observing how the studio operates on a strategic and practical level has helped me better understand what it takes to build and sustain a creative business. Perhaps most importantly, this experience strengthens my confidence in my own entrepreneurial vision. My goals and ideas are becoming clearer, and I feel increasingly certain about the direction I want to take in the future.

When reflecting on possible adjustments for the second half of the exchange, I honestly cannot think of anything I would change. The cooperation has been excellent, and the objectives of the program are absolutely being met. Only time is passing far too quickly. There are exciting projects planned for the autumn, and I already wish I could stay longer to be part of them.

Beyond the professional experience, Portugal itself has become a place where I feel comfortable and at home. The combination of a supportive host organization, inspiring projects, and a welcoming environment has made this exchange an unforgettable experience already. I am excited for the second half.
