The first half of my stay within the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program has been both intense and inspiring. It has been a time full of new experiences, observations, and learning. From the very beginning, I was involved in the activities of the host organization, which allowed me to better understand how a company operates in a foreign market, the cultural differences in the workplace, and the practical aspects of running a business.

One of the biggest challenges for me was the language barrier – although I communicate in English at an intermediate level, I initially struggled with speaking freely in more formal and professional contexts. Fortunately, with each passing week, I feel more confident, and working in an international environment has definitely accelerated my language learning. Another challenge was adapting to a new environment – both culturally and professionally. At first, I felt a bit lost, but thanks to the support of my mentor and colleagues, I managed to find my rhythm and start working effectively.

So far, I have participated in various projects related to communication and marketing – from content creation and market analysis to social media activities. This has allowed me to develop my skills in practice and gain new competencies. I also have the opportunity to observe how relationships with clients are built, how promotional campaigns are planned, and how time and teams are managed – which has been a valuable source of inspiration for me.

I believe that the objectives of the program are definitely being met. I have the opportunity to grow professionally, I’m learning entrepreneurship through practice, I’m developing soft skills, and I’m getting to know the specifics of a foreign market. Additionally, I am gaining more self-confidence, independence, and flexibility – which I consider very important qualities for running my own business in the future.

In terms of possible improvements that could positively influence the rest of the exchange, it would be helpful to have a clearer structure of tasks and projects – tailored even more closely to my development goals and previous experience.

To sum up – I am very satisfied with the course of the exchange so far. I feel that this program is genuinely contributing to my professional and personal growth. Each day brings new challenges but also a sense of satisfaction from small steps forward. I hope that the second part of my stay will be just as fruitful and will help me continue to grow and expand my horizons.
