During the first half of my participation in the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program, the experience gradually became very real and fully engaging. At the beginning, I spent more time observing, adapting to the rhythm of the organization and getting to know the people, but quite quickly I started to feel like an active part of the team and daily processes.
I continued conducting individual psychological consultations, which remain a key part of my work here. People come with different personal stories, but many of them share similar feelings of anxiety, stress, and the challenge of adapting to a new country. Over time, I can clearly see how even small psychological support can help a person regain a sense of inner stability and grounding.
One of the most vivid experiences during this period was meeting the volunteers and participating in the life of the organization during the city festival “Hogueras”. The festival lasted almost a month and involved the entire city. The preparation process was very collective and dynamic: some people painted decorations, others sewed costumes, while others helped with logistics and organizing spaces. There was a strong sense of shared effort, where everyone had an important role.
During this time, the strength of the community became especially visible. People worked together naturally and with ease, creating a very warm and supportive atmosphere. Our association was highly active and visibly involved in the event, which could be felt in every detail and interaction.
From a professional perspective, this experience reinforced for me that psychological support goes beyond individual consultations. The environment and the feeling of belonging play a crucial role in a person’s well-being. When people feel supported and connected, the process of adaptation becomes smoother and more sustainable.
Overall, I experience this period as a gradual deepening of both professional and personal growth. It is not only about gaining skills, but also about understanding people in a more nuanced and empathetic way.
One of the most meaningful and warm moments was my communication with Anna. Through different conversations, it became clear how deeply she is involved in her work and how genuinely she cares about what she does. This sincerity adds a strong sense of authenticity to the whole experience and makes it feel even more complete.
