Hey there!

Let me dive deeper into my unforgettable experience as participant in the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneur program, which I am currently doing in Barcelona, Spain.

I started on the 8th of November 2023, filled with anticipation and excitement. 3IN Social (a branch of PROBENS), the social cooperative co-created by Host Entrepreneur Montse, welcomed me with open arms. It was not the easiest moment for them as a big change was made in terms of internal organisation as a reshuffle of legal status was operating. However, I quickly was put in the loop and immersed in the development of their many projects.

Amongst them, I get to work on the YES SI project. It is aimed at empowering young people to take action in their neighborhoods using the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which was a topic right up my alley as it mixes empowerment of the youth and socioeco sustainability as well as interculturality. I’ve been involved in creating methodologies and in-person or online labs, collaborating with five other entities across Europe. Together, we’re working towards a common goal of creating positive change in our communities. One of the highlights of my time here has been organizing a mobility week in Barcelona. During this week, partners and their youth groups from across Europe came together to collaborate and create projects aligned with the SDGs. It was incredible to see the energy and creativity that flowed during this week, and I’m proud to have been a part of it.

Now, let’s talk about my entrepreneurial skills and business plan. Being immersed in the day-to-day operations of 3IN Social has allowed me to hone my skills in project management, collaboration, and innovation. I’ve learned firsthand the importance of adaptability and resilience in the face of challenges. These experiences have been invaluable in shaping my entrepreneurial journey and refining my business plan. Looking ahead to the coming months, I’m excited to take what I’ve learned and apply it to my future endeavors.

One significant change I’ll be making is to seek out one or two partners for my business idea. Being part of a cooperative has shown me the power of collaboration and shared vision. I believe that having a team by my side will not only amplify our successes but also help us navigate any obstacles that may arise. In conclusion, my Erasmus exchange in Barcelona has been nothing short of life-changing. It’s been a journey of self-discovery, learning, and growth. I’m grateful for the experiences I’ve had and the connections I’ve made, and I can’t wait to see where this entrepreneurial adventure takes me next.

Cheers to collaboration, innovation, and making a positive impact in the world!
