Barcelona, is incredible as I thought! The first half of my stay abroad has been an incredibly enriching and eye-opening experience. I feel more confident navigating a new work environment and adapting to different cultural and professional practices. Every day offers opportunities to learn—from observing how my host entrepreneur runs the business to participating in meetings, projects, and problem-solving sessions.

One significant challenge was a completely new project about a big house to riqualificate in the center of Barcelona, understanding a complex process, adjusting to the local business culture was for me a big issue at first. Initially, it was intimidating, but with guidance from my host and active problem-solving, I was able to contribute meaningfully as a young architect. Another notable event was successfully completing a task, presenting an idea to the team, which boosted my confidence and demonstrated that I can add value to a real business setting.

I feel that the objectives of the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program are being met. I am gaining practical business skills, understanding entrepreneurship from a hands-on perspective, and building a professional network. Additionally, my personal growth—such as improving adaptability, intercultural communication, and confidence—is progressing steadily.

To make the most of the second half of my stay, I plan to:
Take on more responsibility in ongoing projects.
Seek more opportunities to contribute ideas and provide input on business decisions.
Ask for structured feedback regularly to refine my skills.
Explore deeper learning in areas I’ve found particularly challenging, such as financial planning or supplier management.

Entrepreneurship requires resilience, creativity, and strong interpersonal skills.
Observation and active participation together accelerate learning more than theory alone.
Even small contributions can have a meaningful impact when paired with initiative and collaboration. A final reflection and considerations.

Overall, the first half of my exchange has exceeded my expectations. I feel increasingly capable, inspired, and prepared to apply the skills and insights I’m gaining to my own future ventures. By focusing on active participation and structured learning for the remainder of the program, I aim to leave the experience more confident, knowledgeable, and ready for entrepreneurial challenges.
