The first half of my EYE exchange has been an enriching journey of professional and personal growth. Immersing myself in a creative think tank has provided invaluable hands-on experience in various aspects of contributing to a business, from strategy and community-building to event production and stakeholder engagement. While the journey has been inspiring, it has also come with challenges. The initial project with the municipality could not proceed as planned, requiring us to adapt and reshape our collaboration. This process taught me the importance of flexibility, problem-solving, and co-creation in a professional setting.
Despite this challenge, the exchange has exceeded my expectations in many ways. The dynamic and innovative environment I am part of has broadened my perspective on entrepreneurship, futures thinking, and community-driven initiatives. I have been fortunate to work alongside inspiring professionals, gaining insight into how to build and sustain a purpose-driven initiative.
A key highlight of my experience is the opportunity to contribute to Future Days 2025, which will soon host its second edition. Being actively involved in organizing this participatory festival has deepened my understanding of event curation, audience engagement, and the logistics behind creating meaningful co-creation experiences. I am particularly excited to see the impact of our work unfold in April.
My Host Entrepreneur (HE) has been an incredible source of support and mentorship, providing guidance while also giving me the autonomy to explore and apply my own ideas. This trust-based approach has significantly strengthened my confidence as an entrepreneur. Additionally, the diverse network I am building through this exchange is proving to be an invaluable resource for my future endeavors.
Looking ahead, I see May and June as crucial months to consolidate my learnings and define the next steps for my project. My goal is to structure the knowledge and experience gained into a concrete plan for my own business. To enhance the remainder of the exchange, I aim to focus on refining my entrepreneurial strategy, seeking additional mentorship, and identifying practical steps to ensure a smooth transition beyond EYE.
I am confident that this experience is playing a key role in shaping my future, equipping me with the skills, network, and vision to successfully move forward.
