My Erasmus experience at Todo Tours SL, which began at the end of November 2025, is fully meeting my expectations, both in terms of the availability and the valuable guidance provided by my colleagues and supervisors, as well as with regard to the range and quality of the activities I have been involved in. I have had the opportunity to actively collaborate with the company, contributing useful services to support its business while simultaneously developing fundamental skills for operating within the field of Spanish cultural heritage dissemination.
This experience aligns perfectly both with my academic background in Art History and with my professional experience acquired in recent years in Bologna. Among my responsibilities are tasks in which I already had prior experience, such as leading guided tours with direct interaction with the public. In doing so, I have further refined my ability to adapt both language and content to different audiences, taking into careful consideration their specific needs and expectations. I have also been involved in the planning and design of original, high-quality tourist itineraries. At the same time, I have been able to develop key competencies that are essential in today’s professional environment, including the creation of content for social media—such as posts, videos, and materials produced with the support of artificial intelligence, as well as the management of contacts with private individuals and associations for potential collaborations.
Furthermore, I have gained insight into internal organizational processes and market strategies within the company. Carrying out this experience abroad, in a new environment and in different languages, has undoubtedly represented a challenge; however, it has also allowed me to step outside my comfort zone and significantly strengthen a range of highly valuable skills for my future professional path in the field of art and cultural heritage.
Overall, this has been an extremely rewarding and enriching experience, which I would strongly recommend to anyone interested in pursuing opportunities beyond the ordinary. It will undoubtedly lay a solid foundation for my future professional endeavors, particularly with regard to potential career opportunities in the city of Madrid.
