I am grateful for the invaluable experiences, personal growth, and professional development that have marked this journey so far. The opportunity to take part in a new cultural and academic environment has not only broadened my perspective but also deepened my appreciation for international collaboration.
From the beginning, the transition into this new setting was both exciting and a little challenging—as expected when adapting to a different culture and way of life. However, the support from my host institution and peers has been great. I’ve felt welcomed, encouraged, and included, which has allowed me to truly engage in both the academic and social settings of the exchange.
In terms of my collaboration and work, the experience has been extremely rewarding. I’ve had the chance to participate in hands-on projects, contribute to meaningful discussions, and learn from diverse approaches to problem-solving. There have been moments of language barriers or differences in work style, but these have ultimately been opportunities for learning rather than obstacles. By embracing flexibility and maintaining open communication, I’ve grown more confident in navigating such situations.
Regarding the program’s objectives, I feel they are being well met. To enhance the remainder of the exchange, I would suggest potentially introducing more structured opportunities for peer reflection and sharing between participants from different backgrounds. These could take the form of informal workshops or roundtable discussions, which would encourage even deeper learning and provide space to share both challenges and successes. Overall, I am truly enjoying this experience and am optimistic about the second half of the exchange.
