After the first half of my exchange, I can honestly say that I already feel at home in Paterna and Valencia. During these months, I have had the opportunity not only to work in an international company, but also to experience the rhythm, culture and energy of a Spanish city. Living abroad has helped me become more independent, open-minded and confident in both professional and everyday situations.
My experience at Hellotickets has been very valuable so far. One of the main challenges I have faced is working on improving conversions on the Google Things to Do platform. At the beginning, the topic seemed quite complex, because it involves product data, POI mapping, Google requirements, traffic analysis and cooperation between different teams. Over time, I understood that every detail matters: the title of the product, the related points of interest, the admission information, the quality of the landing page and the way the product is presented to users.
This challenge has shown me how important collaboration is in a real business environment. Improving one product often requires communication with different departments, checking data, understanding technical limitations and making decisions based on results. It takes a lot of work and patience, but every product that is improved thanks to my research and actions creates a visible effect. Seeing that my work can influence performance and conversions gives me a lot of satisfaction and motivation.

I feel that the objectives of the program are definitely being met. I am gaining practical experience, learning how an international travel company operates and developing skills that are directly connected to my future business ideas. I am also in contact with different teams and their managers, who share their knowledge and insights with me. These conversations are helping me better understand the tourism industry, online sales, affiliate marketing and Google Things to Do, which are all very relevant for my own entrepreneurial plans.
At this point, I do not see any major need for adjustments. I really appreciate the cooperation we have established at Hellotickets and I feel supported in my tasks. For the second half of the exchange, I would like to continue developing my analytical skills, take more responsibility for selected projects and learn even more about how business decisions are made. Overall, this experience has already given me many practical insights and has confirmed that international cooperation can be a very strong source of personal and professional growth.
