Reaching the halfway point of my Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs exchange is the best moment to reflect on everything that I have experienced so far. At this point I can admit that this experience has exceeded my expectations in many aspects. I can’t describe how grateful I am that I could take part in this program because I know that it will change my life forever.
The last three months have been a challenging time, filled with new inspiring experiences. I know for sure that for me this experience, apart from professional development, is primarily about personal growth.
During my stay in the office, everyday was valuable. I had an opportunity to actively participate in various aspects of the company’s development. I gained practical insight into how projects are developed and implemented in real business and healthcare settings. This helped me consolidate the knowledge from my University and become familiar with its practical side. This made me understand how important personalized solutions are for patients, and each new innovation and work in such a company can change the lives of many people in the future. It also showed me how to look for new useful solutions from the customer perspective, and what is really important for him. I gained knowledge about business strategies, project management, and operation processes. They showed me how to work in accordance with the established goals and long-term vision.

Another valuable aspect is the people and all the employees who surround me everyday. Despite the distance from my home country, thanks to them this place started to feel like a second home. Above all, they are people with extensive experience and working with them means learning something new everyday. From business skills, managing projects, learning how to deal with deadlines and avoid mistakes. The entire team has been supportive, welcoming and genuinely interested in helping me make the most of my stay. They are always willing to adapt opportunities to my interests and goals, which gives me the broader perspective of how the company operates. Moreover, everyday I communicate in English and collaborate with people from different cultural backgrounds, and work with them together.
I can’t wait for the second half of my exchange. I feel really motivated and excited about what this time will bring me. I wouldn’t change anything at this point.
