I am a multidisciplinary artist and creative director working between contemporary art, design, and experimental commercial projects. My background is in mechanical and design engineering, with studies at the National Technical University of Athens and Middlesex University in London. I later shifted fully towards artistic practice during my Master’s at Design Academy Eindhoven (2022–2024), where I developed a research-driven and narrative-based way of working.
My practice focuses on worldbuilding. I create narratives through writing, collage, and material experimentation, which I then translate into installations, objects, and spatial environments. My work often draws from mythology, folklore, and contemporary realities, exploring themes such as identity, transformation, and social and environmental pressure. Alongside this, I have been working as a creative director with cultural institutions, museums, foundations, and design-related clients, translating research and ideas into exhibitions, installations, and visual identities.
I decided to participate in the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme at a moment when I wanted to expand my practice into the fashion field. I had already started to see connections between my work and fashion, especially in areas like spatial design, storytelling, and brand environments. A former colleague from Design Academy Eindhoven, who was also applying to the programme, introduced it to me, knowing that I was interested in working in Paris and entering this ecosystem.
I am currently in Paris since March 2026, working with a host entrepreneur in the fashion and creative industries. From the beginning, I have been fully integrated into the studio. I am included in all email exchanges, I have my own professional email within the studio, and I participate in meetings and ongoing projects. I already feel part of the office and actively involved in the workflow.
At the same time, I have started participating in fashion events and showcases, where I am meeting designers and brands. This week, I attended the AMI Prize at the Institut Français de la Mode (IFM) in Paris, a closed event where selected emerging fashion designers present their work. It was a significant opportunity to be present in this context and gain insight into the next generation of fashion practices. I had the chance to connect with several young brands, and I have already started exchanging emails with some of them. Many are looking for ways to develop stronger narratives and creative direction, which aligns closely with my approach. These connections are very valuable, as they open possibilities for future collaborations even after my return back in the Netherlands.
Through this experience, I am learning how the fashion industry operates in practice: how relationships are built, how projects are developed, and how pricing and budgets are structured. At the same time, living and working in a new environment is helping me grow on a personal level, becoming more adaptable and confident in navigating different professional contexts.
Overall, the programme is so far helping me connect my artistic practice with a more structured professional framework, while building the network and knowledge needed to develop my studio further within the fashion and creative industries. I am excited to continue the next months.
