My name is Mattia, I am 27 years old and I have a Master’s degree in business management and consulting.
My favourite sport is swimming, I was also part of an agonistic swimming team, but I am also passionate about football.
In my free time I like travelling, discovering new places and meeting new people.
Malta is a fantastic island with a Mediterranean climate and many beautiful places to visit, such as the capital Valletta, the towns of St. Julian’s, Sliema, St. Paul’s Bay and the ancient town of Medina. Also worth visiting is the neighbouring island of Gozo with the fortified citadel of Rabat and the characteristic cliffs. Malta, however, is also a favourably taxed state for foreign entrepreneurs who want to set up a business in Malta and is a growing hotspot for innovative start-ups, especially in the fintech and igaming sectors.
I am an expert in accounting and finance, which is why I decided to choose a project in the field of economics, but I also wanted to enrich my knowledge, so I was interested in a field of international business development. In particular, I am involved in a project that aims to optimise mineral resources in Africa to create value for both investors and workers in local countries such as Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast and Niger.
I believe it is very important to implement a strategy that benefits all stakeholders and also takes environmental protection into account.
Creating a network between foreign investors, geologists, engineers and mining companies facilitates communication and the exchange of best practices.
I am very keen to get involved and I believe that this project will help me to consolidate my knowledge and learn new ones and I am looking forward to completing it.
