My name is Matilde Mussoni and I’m 31 years old. I’ve always been passionate about delivering knowledge and discovering new perspectives of learning how to do so.

Thus, when in High School I found out about the newborn social media’s world, what these tools are able to do and how they can connect people to each other, I immediately fell in love with this world, starting to explore it and studying on my own how to use it for my purposes.
Even if I chose majoring not in the communication field, I never abandoned this passion, and I always used social media’s tool not only in my free time, but also at work: as I previously mentioned, I majored in Science, I have a master’s degree in health biology and for a brief period of time I worked in the research field.

During that period of time, I started working with pop science as a side job, learning how to communicate with people about delicate topics and how to deliver correctly important messages: social medias and science were working together, and I was having a lot of fun with it.
Unluckily, when the COVID19 pandemic started, I lost my job in the research department, but I quickly made a decision: I wanted to work in the communication field, with social medias and other tools, making that my only work.
It wasn’t easy at the beginning: new work field, new objectives, new perspectives, but I started managing everything one step at a time and my new job took form.

One thing was missing: I really wanted to do a major growing experience, something that would help me reaching new milestones in my new career and that would give me an overall perspective about my job.

After a couple of years, a friend of mine told me about the EYE programme and I was immediately captivated by it. Even if it’s only been a few days since this experience has started, I feel I will learn a lot from it: working at Alphabet Formation and ENCRE is giving me challenging tasks where I can use all my potential and I can finally deliver my experience. I love creating new communication strategies and helping out people understand how social medias and other communication tools work. I hope I will be able to develop new entrepreneurial skills that are going to help my career in the next years.

In the meantime, I want to instil this new perception of the communication world and bring new editorial plans and strategies to Alphabet Formation and ENCRE. I really feel that working with the people in this association will help us both not only growing as human beings, but also as people who are able to communicate to the EU citizens about values and rights.
