My name is Marwan Zaher, and I am an experienced professional with extensive expertise in the education sector and in managing European-funded projects. I have led over 80 educational initiatives and projects, demonstrating my commitment to transforming traditional learning methodologies. My expertise focuses on developing educational programs that prioritize practical skills and real-world knowledge over mere certification.
My educational background is both broad and specialized, highlighting my proficiency in finance, local development, and urban and regional planning. I hold a Master’s degree in Finance from Rome Business School, where I gained a solid foundation in financial management and strategic planning. This degree has equipped me with the skills necessary to navigate complex financial landscapes and devise effective strategies.
Additionally, I earned a Master’s degree in Local Development from the University of Padova. This program provided me with an in-depth understanding of local development processes, exploring social dynamics, organizational, economic, territorial, and institutional aspects. My studies covered a comprehensive range of topics, including political, economic, regional, and social organization; statistics for measuring local and sustainable development; intercultural learning; group dynamics design and development; and project planning, with a strong emphasis on social and environmental responsibility.
I also completed a 5-year Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Cairo University. This program allowed me to apply both analytical and practical methods to understand complex contexts. I developed the ability to identify favorable conditions for development, evaluate the effectiveness of development processes, and foster conditions that support local development.
Over my 8-year career, I have demonstrated strong leadership and project management capabilities. I have a proven track record of successfully designing, managing, and executing educational projects. My strategic insight and dedication to high-quality education have played a crucial role in establishing Alfa Edu SRLS as an innovative leader in the education sector.
I decided to participate in the EYE program after have established my company (ALFA EDU SRLS) and I found that I lack experience in “selling” my product. I have focused much on creating the product, but not to market it, so i decided i need to explore new perspectives and innovative approaches to market my product. I see EYE as a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, exchange knowledge with experienced entrepreneurs, and deepen my understanding of business environments.
