I studied Arts and New Media, with a strong focus on photography, videomaking, and filmmaking. My academic background at the Academy of Fine Arts has shaped my close connection to the artistic world. In addition to this, I took an online course in cultural event and festival management in 2023, which sparked my interest in exploring how these processes work, especially in the context of film festivals. This knowledge has become even more valuable after completing an internship abroad in the cultural sector, where I gained firsthand experience in festival operations.
My decision to participate in the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program came after a conversation with a girl I met in the cultural sector last year. She shared her experience as an Erasmus entrepreneur, and I immediately saw the opportunity to further develop my skills and gain practical knowledge in the field. This conversation inspired me to pursue a project that could offer hands-on learning and exposure to the dynamics of the cultural event industry.
I believe this experience will contribute significantly to both my personal and professional growth. By immersing myself in the cultural sector and working alongside experts, I will be able to better understand the industry’s intricacies and its challenges. I look forward to meeting and collaborating with professionals in the field, expanding my network, and gaining insights into the practical aspects of cultural event management.
