My name is Marko Pajkic, and I am from Sweden. My background is mainly within IT and cybersecurity, which is also where a lot of my personal interests are. I have always enjoyed technology, problem-solving and learning how digital systems work, but over time I became especially interested in cybersecurity and the human side of security.

This interest eventually led me to start developing Sentra, my own Human Risk Management platform. The idea is to help companies strengthen their cybersecurity by focusing on their employees through awareness training, risk analysis and practical tools such as phishing simulations. Building Sentra has also made me increasingly interested in entrepreneurship, SaaS and how you turn a technical idea into a sustainable business.

I decided to participate in Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs because I wanted to learn things that are difficult to learn only through studies or by developing a product on your own. I wanted to spend time with an experienced entrepreneur, understand how they approach business decisions, and at the same time have an environment where I can test and develop my own ideas.

It has now been almost two weeks since I started the exchange. Together with my Host Entrepreneur, we have begun discussing Sentra, business development and the projects we will work on during the coming months. This includes developing a Civic Cyber Lab, working on cybersecurity awareness workshops, and testing and improving Sentra based on feedback.

What excites me most about the programme is that the exchange goes both ways. I can learn from my Host Entrepreneur’s experience in business, finance and international entrepreneurship, while I can contribute my own knowledge of cybersecurity, SaaS and human risk management.

I believe these five months can contribute a lot to both my professional and personal development. Professionally, I want to become a better entrepreneur, improve Sentra and gain a stronger understanding of how to bring the platform to the market. Personally, I expect the experience of working in a different environment, exchanging ideas and meeting new people to make me more confident, adaptable and open to new perspectives.

After almost two weeks, I feel that the journey has only just started, and I am excited to see how much can develop over the coming months.
