I am Maja, a Psychology student from Poland with a strong passion for creativity, education, and international cooperation. Alongside my studies, I have been actively involved in volunteering, youth exchanges, and social projects, where I discovered how powerful non-formal education can be in helping young people develop new skills and build meaningful connections. I am also an artist and content creator, and I enjoy combining psychology with visual communication to make educational topics more engaging and accessible.
My interests are diverse but closely connected. I love art, travelling, cultural events, and exploring different perspectives through conversations with people from various backgrounds. Professionally, I am particularly interested in youth work, project management, social media communication, and designing educational experiences that encourage personal growth, creativity, and active participation. I believe that psychology and creativity complement each other and can be used to create projects with a real social impact.
I decided to participate in the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme because I wanted to gain practical experience in an international environment while learning directly from experienced professionals. I was also motivated by the opportunity to live abroad, step outside my comfort zone, and better understand how organisations working with young people operate on a European level. After participating in several international youth exchanges, I realised that I wanted to become more involved in creating projects rather than only taking part in them. The EYE programme seemed like the perfect opportunity to achieve this.
I believe this experience will contribute significantly to both my personal and professional development. Professionally, I hope to strengthen my skills in project management, teamwork, communication, and international cooperation while gaining a deeper understanding of the NGO sector and educational initiatives across Europe. Personally, I expect this experience to make me more independent, adaptable, and confident in unfamiliar situations. Living and working in another country will allow me to broaden my perspective, develop intercultural competences, and build valuable international relationships.
During my first days in Bologna, I felt a mixture of excitement, curiosity, and anticipation. Everything was new, but I immediately felt welcomed by the team and inspired by the collaborative atmosphere. I am looking forward to learning from my Host Entrepreneur, contributing to meaningful projects, and making the most of these three months. I believe this experience will not only help me grow as a future professional but will also shape the way I approach creativity, collaboration, and lifelong learning.
