I graduated in Product Design, and I have always been drawn to creative and hands-on activities. Throughout my studies and personal projects, I developed interests in sewing, photography, drawing and crafting. In recent years, sewing has become my main focus, as I would like to build my own brand centered around bags and accessories. My goal is not only to design functional and aesthetically pleasing products, but also to understand every stage of bringing them to life, from the first idea to production and running a successful business.
I first heard about the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme from a friend who spoke very positively about their experience. The opportunity immediately caught my attention because I saw it as a unique chance to gain practical knowledge while working alongside an experienced entrepreneur. I was also excited by the possibility of living abroad and becoming part of an international professional environment.
For someone interested in starting a small or medium-sized design business, this programme is especially valuable. Many independent brands and small studios simply do not have the resources to hire additional employees, so without the support of the EYE programme, gaining this kind of experience would often not be possible. I truly appreciate that the programme creates opportunities for knowledge exchange between entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners.

This experience has given me a much deeper understanding of how a creative business operates. I am learning what it takes to establish and develop a company, how daily operations are managed, and what responsibilities come with running a small business. At the same time, I am building an international network of professional contacts that I believe will be invaluable in the future.
Another important aspect of this exchange is the opportunity to learn completely new skills. Before joining my host company, I had never worked with leather. Now I am learning about leather craftsmanship, bag construction, and the production process while gaining hands-on experience every day. My host involves me in many different aspects of the business, is very open and transparent, and is always willing to share knowledge and explain how the company functions. This level of trust and openness has made the experience incredibly valuable, both professionally and personally.
Overall, I believe that participating in Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is bringing me much closer to achieving my long-term goal of establishing my own business. It has strengthened my confidence, broadened my perspective, and given me practical knowledge that would be very difficult to gain in any other way.
