I am a Polish attorney, economist, and manager with a broad academic and professional background. I have earned a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Lodz, specializing in international law and taxation, with an exchange semester at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. In addition, I completed my studies in economics at the Warsaw School of Economics and earned a degree in Management from the University of Warsaw, further enriched by an exchange year at Universidad de Chile, where I focused on economics and informatics. I also completed postgraduate studies at the School of American Law.
Fluent in Polish, English, and Spanish, I am currently enhancing my Turkish skills and preparing for the official Polish-Spanish translator exam. With my interest in business, export-import cases, and international law, I have always sought opportunities to expand my skill set and push the boundaries of what’s possible in my professional life. It was through a colleague that I first learned about the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYE) program, and after evaluating the potential benefits, I recognized it as a prime opportunity to take my career and entrepreneurial aspirations to the next level.
Why EYE?
The decision to apply for the EYE program stemmed from a desire to not only broaden my professional horizons but also to explore new business opportunities. The program presented an ideal setting to leverage my diverse background in law, economics, and management while immersing myself in an entrepreneurial ecosystem. Having the chance to contribute to a startup and gain hands-on experience was a clear draw, and I saw it as a unique business opportunity that would allow me to apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world context.
The EYE program promises to enhance my skills as both an entrepreneur and a professional. With its focus on innovation, networking, and international collaboration, it offers invaluable exposure to new business models, cutting-edge technologies, and diverse entrepreneurial approaches. These experiences will be instrumental in launching my own startup and exploring the global market.
First 15 Days
From day one, my experience with the EYE program has exceeded expectations. The first few days were understandably filled with the usual challenges of adjusting to a new environment, but it quickly became clear that I was in the perfect setting to build and grow a business. Being part of a startup offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment that encourages both personal and professional growth. I’ve already begun to develop a business model for a new venture, drawing from my diverse academic background and the practical insights I’m gaining through the program.
The EYE program has provided me with access to an incredibly valuable network of entrepreneurs, business mentors, and professionals who have already been through the trials and tribulations of building their own businesses. This network is not only inspiring but also provides access to potential partners, investors, and clients who can help transform a simple idea into a successful business. It’s an environment where collaboration and creativity are highly valued, and I am already beginning to apply these principles to my own entrepreneurial journey.
Living in a Spanish-speaking environment has also proven to be an immense advantage, both personally and professionally. I’ve had the chance to improve my language skills, which is essential for developing a global business strategy, and I’m gaining a deeper cultural understanding of the international business landscape. These skills will be invaluable as I expand my entrepreneurial venture into Spanish-speaking markets and beyond.
As I move forward in the program, I am increasingly convinced that EYE offers more than just an academic or professional opportunity – it is the perfect springboard for launching a new business. Over the next few months, I plan to refine my startup ideas further, using the tools, insights, and networks available through the program. The exposure to international business practices, diverse entrepreneurial models, and practical challenges will be critical as I build my business strategy and make key decisions that will shape the future of my venture.
EYE is not just about gaining knowledge – it’s about turning that knowledge into action. The skills I am developing here will enable me to navigate the complexities of starting a business, from building a customer base to managing operations and scaling a company. The program’s emphasis on innovation and entrepreneurial thinking is exactly what I need to take the leap into the business world with confidence.
The program also provides a unique opportunity to learn from the experiences of other entrepreneurs. Their insights into everything from financing and marketing to navigating legal challenges and managing international teams will prove invaluable as I start my own business. As I build my network and gain experience, I am laying the foundation for a future where my business can thrive in the global marketplace.
In conclusion, the first 15 days of the EYE program have already shown me the immense value this opportunity brings, not just in terms of personal and professional growth, but as a powerful business opportunity. The skills, networks, and experiences I’m gaining here are giving me the tools I need to build a successful business. I am excited to continue this journey and look forward to the next phase of my entrepreneurial adventure.
